The departure approach. In a month, the plane will take us to destination. Montreal will welcome us and we can start our new life. Stress begins to overwhelm me, good stress of course.

A year that is meant to instruct us to change: Immigration and Marriage

Where are we in our approach:

- We just finally get visas Resident Representative to the Canadian Embassy in Paris. I had the right to "Good installation" by the person issuing the visas. It is already a bit in the mood. (Photo of the entrance to the embassy)

- We took the tickets. So we start Feb. 22 with Air Transat Club Class (seat 1G and 1K). Club class, except the hype side of it, among other power can take 40 kg (instead of 20) in baggage and 15 kg (instead of 10) in the cabin and this person. This also allows faster out of the plane and through customs faster, convenient when you know that Baccarat (Our cat) will wait with the luggage.

- We found our short-term furnished housing. Big stroke of luck, I answered the ad for an apartment on Craigslist that we liked Montreal. Except that I usually never answer. In this case it was quite fast, very nice touch with the owner. We already had quite a few photos of the apartment and the neighborhood so we paid a deposit for the book. It is therefore a 4 1 / 2 furnished, located on rue Fabre Montreal. We have a little over a month, this gives us time to ask, do the paperwork and find our long-term housing (we already have a track, we'll talk when it's done).

- We asked our resignations. In 15 days it will be finished for us 2. Release work after 3 years (it can do little to some but this is my first real job after graduation), it is always strange especially when you leave people with whom one gets along with whom we created affinity. I know it creates a desire (I'll wait for you there).

Then that makes a lot in a short time. This is just the beginning ...
